Lifeline is a federal program dedicated to making phone and internet service more affordable for low-income households. This benefit provides eligible consumers with a monthly discount of up to $9.25. Consumers living on Tribal lands are eligible for an enhanced discount of up to $34.25 per month. Gather's Mobile Market is set up like a farmers market offering a range of seasonally available fresh produce, staple pantry items, meats, dairy, and eggs. There is no cost to shoppers and no registration or paperwork needed to participate. Currently hosting mobile markets in Somersworth at the American Legion and Tuckers. More info at the link below.
The Somersworth Housing Authority office is 1 of the drop off locations for meals for children this summer. Meals are delivered at 8:00 a.m. and 12:45 p.m., Monday thru Friday starting 6/26/23.
The Thompson School veterinary technology program offers low-cost veterinary care to qualifying pet owners during the academic year.
Our Housing Authority has partnered with www.AffordableHousing.com, which provides an enhanced program to list rental properties online. Listings are available to potential Housing Choice Voucher tenants or tenants looking for affordable apartments, duplexes, single-family homes, or townhomes nearby.

· Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program;
· 1 bedroom; 2 bedroom; and 4 bedroom units for rental assistance.
We are suspending the acceptance of applications effective July 24, 2024
