Lifeline is a federal program dedicated to making phone and internet service more affordable for low-income households. This benefit provides eligible consumers with a monthly discount of up to $9.25. Consumers living on Tribal lands are eligible for an enhanced discount of up to $34.25 per month. Our Housing Authority has partnered with www.AffordableHousing.com, which provides an enhanced program to list rental properties online. Listings are available to potential Housing Choice Voucher tenants or tenants looking for affordable apartments, duplexes, single-family homes, or townhomes nearby.

The Somersworth Housing Authority is closing the waiting lists for the following:
· Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program;
· 1 bedroom; 2 bedroom; and 4 bedroom units for rental assistance.
We are suspending the acceptance of applications effective July 24, 2024
